Does anyone have a recipe for vegan whipped cream? Or is there a brand out there to try? I love whipped cream on my strawberries and am looking for a vegan substitute. I know you can use heavy whipping cream, but is there a vegan version? Thanks for your help!!!
I chill a can of coconut milk, then scrape out the thick cream that almost solidifies. I whip the cream up w some powdered sugar and its delicious. It does have a light coconut flavor but I love it. I've also mixed it with some raspberry flavored agave nectar..its a little thinner but so tasty.
I found a brand called Healthy Top Mimic cream. It's dairy and soy free , gluten free, non -gmo, kosher and of course vegan. It's made from almonds and cashews. I haven't tried it yet..it's just sitting in my cupboard until I can find a reason to use it lol. I found it at my local health food store.
