Miso & Easy- product question

Hi All, First let me say I am SOOOO happy to have discovered this site! I read "The Kind Diet" in 2 nites and just loved it. In the book she recommends Miso Soup a lot, which is great cuz I love it. She says to use "unpasteurized" miso. I've been using Miso & Easy concentrate which comes in a squeeze bottle and is super convenient. I've looked all over the container and it doesnt say anything at all about pasterization. Does anyone know about this product, or have any suggestions? thanks kva
Im having the same issue. Im looking up miso online but even so called "unpasturized" is cooked above 120 degrees F. Did you find out if this product has any probiotic qualities?
I have bought miso from Eden Foods but it doesn't say anything on their website and I'm not home to check the package. I sent them a request. They're very helpful and knowledgeable, so I will pass along what they reply.
I also buy it in containers from the local Asian stores so I will make sure to check those, too.
