Don't forget about Earwax Cafe 1561 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago


They have really great seitan dishes and other veggie items. It's a good place to go with your non-vegan friends or family.

Just discovered Native Foods at 1484 N Milwaukee Ave, not far from the Blue Line Damen stop. (773) 489-8480. Check it out at http://www.nativefoods.com. My vegan meal was excellent. Young, helpful, enthusiastic staff.

Urban Vegan--1605 W Montrose Ave...mmmm...orange "chicken"...but the place is small so be warned. You can take out!

I've been meaning to go to Urban Vegan and haven't heard of Handlebar. Chicago Raw in the French Market on Clinton is a terrific lunch spot if you're in the Loop. Go to http://chicagorawfood.com/.
