I posted this in another discussion, but thought maybe it'd reach more people in a separate one

I had been having a lot of digestive issues that started over 3 years ago, so I eliminated dairy, wheat & all meat except fish. That worked okay, until I started cheating a little here and there~ then things got really bad. Blotches, hives, mucus, really horrible stomach cramps, etc. So, I heard about this Naturopath and went to see her. She used a MSAS machine to test my meridians and came up with a list of things she believes are triggers: MSG, food dyes, yeast, grain vinegar, alcohol, dairy, citrus fruits, bananas, berries, gluten, corn, soy, all meat except lamb, poultry & fish, sweetners, potatoes & a few environmentals. She also told me she believes my body is in a fight/flight response & my organs (except my heart) are inflammed. She thinks I have an autoimmune disorder where my body attacks sugar & it has already started to attack my adrenals, stomach & small intestine. Along with informing me that I have very weak connective tissue, she diagnosed me with IBS, 'leaky gut' & something called Microangiopermeability (I've been getting random hives since 2005 & am on 2 year-round prescritpion meds- 1 allergy & 1 steroid.) I plan to do a lot of research & talk to my general practitioner, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience/advice on any of these conditions in addition to what I've already read. It's hard to explain why I'm not eating certain things when I don't fully understand it yet myself. And I actually find people to be unreasonably skeptical and mean, even those who have seen me through all my ailments~ ie: family. It's very hurtful when all I'm trying to do is figure out why this is happening to me. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

I am in the same boat u are. Same health problems leaky gut auto-immune reponse kidney inflamation (i urinate like 6 times a night). Of course stomach inflamation. I get sores in my head and mouth when i eat trigger foods wich make it easier to know what bothers me now. I used to have to wait couple days till my stomach swell and hurt so bad. I'm constantly explaining to people what meat does to me when i eat it and they're like u need to go to the doctor. I'm like u think i haven't been to the doctor. They just tell me i'm gaining weight. It's not fat it's mostly inflamation. And it all goes away when i don't eat my trigger foods and joint pain goes away and urination gets better

I didn't know where to post this. I am new here and trying to find out the best successful way to treat
Candida. I am severely. ill. Just finally found out by a NaturalPathic doctor that I have a severe Candida overgrowth in my body. I feel like I have cancer or am on chemo with a respiratory infection and the flu all rolled into one, plus I'm not sleeping, which makes it all worse. I was wondering about nutritional yeast and if it can make Candida worse. Does anyone know?
