I live in Lucan in Dublin Ireland. I started on my new diet a few days ago after seeing Alicia on the Oprah show. I subsequently bought her book. I went to my health food store yesterday to stock up on a few products and after a few days without meat in my system I am feeling better already. I feel a little lighter, not so bloated and my waist is reducing. This is a challenge that I am enjoying.
Definitely have fun with it. I hate to cook but I love trying new vegan meals and they are so much more fun to make! If you miss certain foods, try to convert those meals to vegan or search online for a veganized version. Good luck!
I felt the same way when I removed meat from my life! Focus on what you can eat and not on what you've restricted yourself from. Watch the amount of soy you take in, and drink lots of water and get lots of fruit and veggies. Just a couple things that helped me stay satisfied. I've always wanted to go to Dublin!
