Hi Alicia, I noticed in your book, The Kind Diet, that you didn't mention another type of protein, mycoprotein-from a fungus. The brand name is Quorn. I love the chicken flavored breaded patties. Yum! What are your thoughts about this source of protein? Love to hear from you. Thanks.
I'm obviously not Alicia, but Quorn products generally (if not all) contain milk and eggs. So, just based on the whole premise of the book, probably not on the top of Alicia's list of substitutes (aside from the processed aspect of them). If you really need such a product in your diet, Gardein products are very popular and I believe they are all vegan.
