What do you put in your decaf coffee?

I'm not supposed to have sugar. I'm reactive hypoglycemic, which means I have to take it easy on any type of carbs. I do better with agave since it's low on the glycemic index.
My question is this- I am culturally addicted to coffee, I can't give it up. I've been caffein free for 18mos or so, but I drink decaf regularly. What can I put in my coffee besides sugar? As it is, I'm already using silk vanilla creamer which is probably loaded with sugar :D What is a girl to do?! lol
i'm probably not of any help to you since i drink my coffee black.........i just love the rich taste of it without any additions to alter it......although, i totally understand about the addiction!! its not so much the caffeine as it is the comfort of it :)
I can't give up coffee with creamer, either, but I have cut down to one cup in the morning.
You could always get the original Silk creamer or the So Delicious Coconut Milk original creamer and add your own sweetener with a packet of stevia, which won't affect your blood sugar.
I love coffee too! I went off of it for a week drinking decaf green tea, but as a single mother of five sons I need my caffeine! So I introduced it back slowly with healthier coffee. I drink a 50/50 organic fair trade blend in the morning and decaf in the afternoon. It is water decaffeinated so I don't feel so guilty. I usually put almond milk in my coffee. Before going vegan I was a cream and sugar girl. I used to put a ton of both. I am surprised I don't need as much sugar. There is unsweetened almond milk that is only 35 calories a serving so a splash in some coffee is like next to nothing. Sometimes I sprinkle cinnamon on top when I am board with it the usual way.
I use plain silk soy creamer, or almond milk and stevia. It (stevia) is zero on the glycemic index. It is very potent, and might take a little getting used to.
...like Kiera suggested :)
No decaff thanks. I heard it's made with embalming fluid.
Regular may or may not cause breakouts but it appears it may be overall healthier than decaff.
Regular has been shown to prevent alzheimer's.
Also I take it black.
FYI I have put soy milk in my coffee once and the heat from the coffee made it taste like burnt soy beans. So that was the end of that.
I use stevia. I also drink regular cold-brewed low-acid coffee. Don't know about the embalming fluid but have read that decaf often has more acid than regular coffee does. And coffee regular coffee consumption, while not superhero, has been shown to prevent Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
Vanilla Almond milk is awesome in coffee if you want some sweetness, if not plain almond milk is also delicious
