Ok - so I decided to do the super hero for the 7 days (the sample menu in the book) - the bulk items I think were a lifer saver - but I got the hardest things to find at my health food store - going to the Asian market on Wednesday to see if I can get the seaweed cheaper there - and I still need to get the fresh produce that I want to get from my local farmers market - so far - with just the oils, dried mushrooms and bulk items (all about 1lb or less) was almost $200.

Yikes - Any suggestions to keep the grocery bill cheaper??? I'm only buying for myself - my little one might share, but he is newer to the vegetarian/vegan thing, so it is mainly me - I guess the days it says to eat out a resteraunt I'll have to do leftovers.

porridge says 6-8 servings - can I just do this every morning instead of the miso soup? some of the other recipes are just 2 servings - and some are more - if I keep eating the ones that are more servings - will this have the same effect?

And will this help me loose weight?

Eventually I plan on doing the Raw for 30 days challenge to help me reverse my pre-diabetic state, and of course more weight loss.
