Has anyone ever made their own yeast-free sourdough bread from their own sourdough starter? I'm thinking of making my own starter but was hoping someone could explain the steps on how to start and how to properly store the starter and revive it if storing for a while.
It's has been a while since I have made sourdough. I have attached a link to a website dedicated to home bread bakers. It steps you through the process on how to make a firm sourdough starter. It's a lengthy process, but well worth it in the end.
