Environmental Concerns

On the local radio this morning the news broadcaster mentioned that the oxygen and fish stocks in the oceans are depleting due to over fishing climate change. I am trying to do my part; I am vegan, buy only second hand clothes and toys for my daughter, use cloth diapers, and try to educate people not to consume as much stuff. I would like to start some sort of focus group to help other's in my community become more educated so that they can start changing the way that they live their lives. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can begin this journey? I am starting to become very scared of our future, and I want to impact people in a postive way so that I can channel my anger in fruitful ways. Please help.

What can we citizens of the world do to prevent this from happening. I am doing my part (vegan, buy only second hand items), but I am viewed as the weird one. When will the majority of the human sapiens wake up and realize that we need to do something fast to change this situation? What will it take? I'm worried that most humans are too greedy to give a damn and this will lead to a horrible place to live for our children. So I vow to remain vegan for the rest of my life, to not buy anything that is not needed and only buy second hand items, to continue using only cloth diapers for my child, and to try to advocate for the environment anyway I can. What will others do? Maybe we can start a movement by leading an example for others.
I think it is a great idea to start a focus group! Will you have a website?
Find others, like us, that want to help! :D Remember, there is a lot people that care and don't get so worried that you forget to enjoy your life! Something will happen that will make us all change.
