I like to make a "Green Monster" smoothie:

1c milk (rice, soy, almond)

1Tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds

1 Tbsp nut butter

2 handfuls of spinach

1 banana....yummy!!

Or I use leftover brown rice with some vanilla rice milk, cinammon, berries and agave nectar...delish!

Green Smoothies usually made with 2 handfuls of spinach, 1 cup almond milk, 1 banana, 1tbsp chia seeds, 1 mango or 1/2 a pineapple.

Or, I like chickpeas, spinach and tomatoes. Drain 1 can of chickpeas, put in fryingpan warm for 3 minutes. Add spinach, 1/2 a sliced tomatoes(can chop them finer but I liek them thinly sliced) and 1 garlic clove. Cook until spinach has slightly wilted and tomatoes and chickpeas are warm(about 3-5 minutes). It looks gross but since I am not a huge fan of sweet things it works for me.

Hi Jenn,

Well there are so many options that you can easily try at home. One of my favorites is Chickpea noodles- my kid’s love them. We take these little powerhouses and grind them up to make savory seasoned noodles, then pair them with pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and roasted corn. A tasty and healthy recipe, indeed.
