TRAVELING TO FIJI.... NEED LOTS OF SUGGESTIONS

My boyfriend and I have our long awaited ... and much needed trip to fiji coming up in a month. I am staying on an island in Nagani and consists only of our resort. There is no kitchen in any of the rooms but they have a coffee maker and mini fridge. Our only food option on the island is three meals a day at the resort for a fee. I spoke with them and they have vegeterian options at each meal but not vegan. Im really worried about what I can do or eat to stay vegan. Because of the coffe maker I know I can do instant oatmeal in the morning but that seems like it. Does anyone have suggestions... or do I have to give up my vegan lifestyle for a week and hope the dairy cheese and egg products dont make me sick???
Hallo Jacqui Kreisler,
I would live on fruits (fresh and dried), nuts, seads and beans (from the can).
I would just eat without cooking.
Or just boiled noodles, rice, vegetables.
Or make salads and salads.
I have schon eaten only fruits and saldas and vegetables. It is great.
Sorry, for my faults. I have not written English for a log time.
Nice to write to you.
Enjoy your trip.

Maybe if you call ahead or talk to someone when you arrive and tell them it is for allergy reasons they will accomodate you. I would tell them that you are vegetarian with allergies to eggs and dairy. I know it is a little white lie, but people are more open to helping if it is for allergy reason. Might be worth a shot!
I only have two suggestions:
1. Take me with you.
2. Can you bring stuff? If so, you can prepare meals for yourself.
The vegetaerian Dairy thing kinda worked but it sounds like I am going to have to use mailnly Irenes suggestions while I am there. The second week we found a place with a kitchen so its just that first week. I am trying to figure out if I can travel abroad to fiji with nuts dried fruit and grains without it being illegal? Does anyone know?
Dennis unfortunately I cant prepare meals bc customs will throw them away after I land : (
There's got to be some markets or stores you can buy food to prepare, right? Hopefully, you can get those nuts, dried fruit, and grains there, and maybe you could just eat that for the first week.
I can't imagine a place like Fiji without fruits, honestly. Worst case, you can just eat fruit. It might not be a prepared meal, but so what? Eating nothing but pineapple on a tropical beach with some rum to wash it down for days at a time sounds awesome to me.
