I've been vegan for about 8 months now, and i love how great it makes me feel. But I recently have been having very low energy and am finding it hard to concentrate. I'm only fifteen, so I may still be growing, but its gotten pretty extreme. I always make sure to get my complete proteins, eat my raw fruits and veggies, ect. I do yoga everyday but am finding it harder and harder to stay awake. Any tips for super foods to help me out? thanks so much!
If its been happening for a while and not clearing up id start by getting some blood work done by your doctor. It could be a number of deficiences such as b12, iron, iodine and so on.
You'd be stabbing in the dark without knowing if it was the above so its probably the wisest move to start and you dont want prolonged vitamin b12 deficiency as it can cause irreversible nervous system problems.
Do you take a vitamin b12 supplement at present?

As powerlifer says - a blood test would be a good idea.
B12 is unlikely to be a problem as you have only been vegan for 8 months, but you should be taking B12 through fortification or a suppliment - see B12 for Vegans for more info on B12.
Iron is a pretty good candidate - anemia is pretty common see VeganHealth on Iron for more info.
Too much sugar or caffine could be causes - these can give you lift when you take them, but drain you later.
As for superfoods - I would recommed a green smoothie - these can give you a boost in energy without causing you to crash later.
Good luck.
