Becoming a vegetarian and later a vegan was a journey for me. Now that I'm confident in my "veganness", I'm starting to turn towards other areas of my life where I can make changes and be more socially concious. My new project is trying to only buy clothing made in the USA. I'm interested in being more eco-friendly and possibly becoming superhero. My question is, what are the easiest ways to start? What can I start doing, say for one or two weeks before I start the next goal, that will be easy and make an impact and give me the satisfaction of getting something done?

For starting superhero I would start off with getting use to whole grains. Start with the brown rice porridge and side steamed veggies in the morning. Then start adding even more whole grains to every meal. Good luck! Awesome goals you've got there!

Faeries Dance is my favorite place to buy eco friendly clothing. I can't guarantee it's all made in the USA, but some of it is. Most items are vegan, but a few have silk or wool, check the product description

American Apparel is made in the USA and offers some organic clothing.
