I wanted to draw your attention to a very cool service I found last year here in Seattle. I was heading to the airport from Redmond, which takes 45 mins to an hour, traffic depending. So instead of driving, I wanted to take a service that would allow me some rest before the whole airport security thing. I found these guys: http://seattlegreenlimo.com/, and they are amazing. Take a look at their website to explore how they offset carbon usage and how their whole fleet is hybrid. Each driver is very earth-conscious. I even had Kevin the owner pick me up once and he was interesting and articulate on the ride home. My recommendation is if you are planning ground travel, before you hop into that next taxi, see if you have something like Green Limo in your area. It's totally worth the experience and our earth is definitely worth the care.
