So since I went vegan about 5 months ago I was getting pimples like crazy around my chin and neck area. I read that vitamin b12 can cause you to breakout. So I quit taking the b12 and my pimples started to clear up. Although I am loving the vegan life I still need to get my b12 so I'm adding a piece of fish a couple times a week. Has anyone else had this problem with b12? just curious ?
There is almost as much B12 in silk soymilk as there is in any piece of fish you would eat (7 mcg vs 8 mcg- which is equal to 50% of your recommended amount). There are many other ways to get your B12 without using animals.
I don't seem to have the same issue you have with the acne. I hope it clears up for you. Maybe try different brands of vitamins?
