My cousin and I are going to Spain (Madrid mostly) for a month at the end of August, she's a vegetarian and I'm vegan. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what we can eat over there! We are also planning on traveling to Morocco, Portugal, France (Paris), and possibly Amsterdam? We don't have a set plan so we could end up anywhere so any suggestions would be great!!

Thanks!! :)

Amsterdam has a raw food cafe, do a little search on the net and you'll probably able to find the details. Its meant to be great and full of living healthy vegan food.

Paris you might have abit of a problem as the cuisine is very meat orientated but you will find vegetarian restaurants and there bound to be vegan options available:).

In Spain and Portugal you won't have problems with a vegetarian diet. They love meat and they have to eat fish all day but most of the restaurants also have really good vegetarian meals. And most of all: the vegetables and the fruits are sooo yummi!!!! As a vegan it is more difficult to get something to eat...I'm sorry that I can't give you the name of some vegan restaurants, but I haven't seen some over there. When I wasn't cooking by myself and went to a restaurant I checked out every vegetarian meal and changed non-vegan food into vegan food if this was possible. Most of the cooks offered something vegan that would fit into your meal. Otherwise I just ordered that I didn't want to have those things in my meal.
