My mom bought me an amazing juicer for my birthday and I want to start juicing in the mornings to replace my daily Coffee Bean run. I'm looking for a yummy juice that is good in the mornings and can help boost my energy ... any recipe recommendations?

Thank you!

I make a juice based on the Crazy Sexy Diet recipe. I use half a big cucumber (peeled if not organic), 1 granny smith apple, about a sixth of a lemon (peeled), 4 or 5 kale leaves, 4 or 5 romaine leaves and a very small piece of ginger. I like it served cold over lots of ice. FYI, the leaves juice better if you roll them into a little bundle. This recipe makes one fairly large glassful. Have fun experimenting!

My favorite juice is: spinach or kale, 1 green apple, 1/2 cucumber, 1-2 carrots, 1-2 celery stalks. You can add lemon or ginger for a kick too!

This juice does not sound appealing at all, but please believe me when I say it is YUMMY! My boyfriend and I don't leave the house now without having it, we're hooked!

1 Frozen Banana,

1 Handful Raw Nuts (I use walnuts),

4-5 dates (without seeds),

3-4 Kale or Silverbeet Leaves,

Cold Water (1-2 Cups depending on the consistency you prefer),

I also put in a dash of Flaxseed Oil. Blend until nice and smooth and enjoy.

Yummy and amazingly good for you! smiley-smile.gif
