My mom found this skin care and beauty line called Arbonne. It has almost the same principle as MaryKay, you throw parties and get men and women to sell it under you, so on and so forth. It says it's 100% vegan and PETA certified and all natural botanicals... Has anyone ever tried it and what did you think?
I actually decided to become a consultant with Arbonne last October. It is, indeed, a great line of products. There are a couple of ways that people approach their business. Some hold parties to introduce the products to groups of people, some speak to people 1 on 1 to help them understand what products are available. To get involved with the company, you can become a consultant for $109 then renew each year for $15. As a consultant, you get a 35% discount on the products and have a right to sell them to others, or you can become a Preferred Client for $29 the first year and $15 for subsequent years. When you are a Preferred Client you get 20% off of all your products. Many consultants build a base of users of the products who become Preferred Clients and are very successful. Others train new consultants to sell and introduce the business to others in order to build their own businesses. It is a very good business model and there is a great spirit in those you work with, even in side lines. Everyone is willing to go out of their way to help. If you find someone who is not, then look elsewhere because there are tons of good people in the company. Get behind someone who is motivated to grow and you will grow, too. Good Luck. If you have more questions I would be happy to answer.
I have tried Arbonne FC5 and I believe the products are ok. However I do feel I was rushed into buying and I wish I had done more research to make sure it was actually "natural".
Arbonne is vegan (no animal testing, no use of animal derived ingredients) but their claim to be natural is false. Some of their products do contain synthetic chemicals.

I was one of those that reacted to most of the Arbonne lines, and I made a switch to Celadon Road. The company carries all organic products, nearly all are Vegan Friendly (a few have sustainably harvested beeswax), and are completely chemical free! I have now joined this wonderful company and have no desire to make a return to a chemical filled life.
