Hello,

After a period of being sedantary for almost two years I have started running and working out again. My muscles are incredibly sore last couple days.

What are some vegan muscle soothing creams and or other remedies?

Isn't an epsom salt bath just to lower blood pressure?

Hello,

It is awesome that you are working out after being sedantary, that is not an easy adjustment! Dehydration may be to blame for sore muscles (not to disregard the depletion of muscle fuels and lactic acid accumulation). Be sure that you are hydrating appropriately and maybe try eating a banana before exercising (this will ensure that you are getting the nutriets that your muscles require). You could just be expericing a work-out hangover, a hot bath will loosen and relax muscles, especially if you add lavender oil. OK one more thing: Comfrey relieves pain, swelling, and inflammation. Arnica may work, too.

I hope this helps!

Hi Calendula TY for the response. Unfortunately I've been stagnant again and it's starting to appear obvious, but thanks to your reminder I'm going to shop for a jogging suit.

I was never properly taught to work out regularly; no one in my family does. We're all artists and or chefs who don't pay attention to that kind of stuff. I'll be the only one. A couple years ago I got to a point where I could run 10 minutes without stopping. That's pretty good shape right?
