Hi there...I am a new vegan, who dove head first into my new lifestyle in June, after a "nagging" feeling would not go away. I have fully embraced my new life and have read about 6 books so far (starting with Alicia's) and have about 10 more stacked up a home waiting for me to read. My eyes have been opened (WIDE) and I cannot believe I lived 37 years as a selfish, animal eating, animal wearing individual. Anyway, as I am "veganizing" my life, slowly & economically, I was at the store this morning, buying organic & cruelty free products and looked down at my (fake) giraffe skin purse and matching wallet. All man made materials, but none the less, gives the impression of the skin of a giraffe. So now I am asking...does this make me a hypocrit? Does that mean I condone the use of animal skin for purses and other accessories? Should I get rid of all my animal print items (I have always loved it, even my underwear is leopard and tiger print!!). Looking for some advice from fellow vegans so I can ease my mind!

Thanks!!
