I just bought the book yesterday and am LOVING it! I've been vegan on and off for the past few years and have decided to dive right into the Superhero plan. Question- are snacks allowed? I know the plan lays out breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but should I be snacking if I'm hungry throughout the day or just wait it out till the next meal?
Why not?! Our bodies aren't designed to eat only every six hours! Keep healthy snacks with you,like oatmeal cookies (no flour/butter/sugar of course),edamame,a raw bar,flax crackers with hummus,carrot sticks.I really like Prana bars,and Two Moms in the Raw as well! also dried figs are a great source of fiber!
