Hello! My name is Kirby Anderson and I decided that red meat wasn't for me about a year ago. I didn't like how it was making me feel so heavy and bloated after eating it. So, I decided I was going to find good sources of protien elsewhere. I new I was ready to take the next step in vegitarianism but, I didn't know where to start. While at the bookstore I came across Alicia Silverstones book, The Kind Diet, and I feel like my path is paved out for me. After reading what I have read, I'am sold on the whole vegitarian lifestyle. I feel like I have a better understanding of why I don't eat meat other than how it makes me feel. I think of it as preventative medicine plus with the added benefit of protecting the enviroment. It all makes sense to me!!! Also, I have to say that the way the book was written was so user friendly without any huge scientific terms leaving me saying "what does any of this mean?" I'am very excited about this new journey and I think I'am even more excited that I finally found what I have been thinking for the past year in a book. As a personal trainer we are always surrounded by people talking about the newest fads and diets. Now, I have proof that vegitarianism is a wonderful way to live. It is going to be like pulling teeth to get my clients to give up their burgers but, I promise they won't go back once they feel how amazing they can feel! smiley-smile.gif
