For about 5 years now, I have had a problem with strong cravings around 8-10 pm. Recently, I have been drinking the daikon-carrot weight loss tea in the morning (4 days strong), but I still feel as though my overeating at night counteracts any effects the tea could have.
As an example, Today I had
Weight-loss tea 630 am
Miso soup from TKL with Kale, Celery, Apple juice 900 am
2 falafels with hummus 11 am
A daiya mozerella quasadille on small corn tortilla 1130 am
*peanut butter and carob chips (2 tbsp each) 12 pm
Iced coffee 1pm
Risotto from TKL, broccoli, mashed potatoes 6 pm
*Another daiya quesdailla, PLUS nachos, PLUS more peanut butter and carob chips 9-10 pm
The * is for things I know I shouldn't have eaten, but I felt like I needed more to fill me up. However, 2 tbsp of peanut butter is 180 calories, and when I'm eating it it's straight from the jar. Am I not eating enough during the day? Does anyone else struggle with being hungriest at night or have any advice to balance my hunger? I feel as though it is out of my control.
