Saw this sad photo/comment on shelter animals - I haven't certified accuracy, but 'a picture's worth a thousand words'. I appreciate their comment, but personally believe greater gains will be had by emphasizing a bigger committment to Trap/Neuter/Return plus encouraging everyone to get animals from shelters only. And speaking of help...all you knitter/crocheters out there - one thing that can help shelter cats at least is to feel comfortable while in their cages [makes them happier/friendlier/more adoptable] - ideas here, I've seen them elsewhere before - but basically just make a little baby blanket for them to lie on http://www.snugglesproject.org/
