My boyfriend and I have been planning a four day weekend trip to Disneyland for my birthday (or rather the long weekend before my birthday) in November. I'm really very pumped to go, as I ADORE Disneyland, and we get three awesome days to ride the rides and spend alone time together. The date is fast approaching (19 days till we leave!)and I'm getting a teeny bit worried.
The pne thing that has been nagging in the back of my mind is: WHAT THE HECK AM I GOING TO EAT???
I'm not a huge salad fan, and eating four days worth of meals of lettuce is not appealing. Does anyone know if there are any vegan friendly restaurants/options within or outside of the Park? We're not renting a car so we're pretty limited as to where we can eat. Our hotel is right across the street from Disney, next to the wonderful anti-vegan IHOP. We love to walk and I'm up for anything within a 4 mile radius (although I don't know how my carnivore will like walking home with a tummy full of carcass).
I, and my boyfriend, are a little worried about the options available to me, so I'm hoping you guys will be able to help!
Ps: I think breakfast/snacks are pretty much covered, the hotel offers a complimentary breakfast that has fruit (I've stayed here before) and I'm planning on grabbing a couple extra pieces to sneak into the park.
Hi Marty,
That was a great review, I really enjoyed reading it!
Does anyone have info for vegan eating in Universal Studios? My husband and kids and I went last year to Universal and plan on going again this April. We had a great time but the problem was there was nothing for me to eat at all except salad and fries. Orlando does have a few vegan restaurants, especially Dandelion Communitea Cafe. But you still have to eat during the day in the park. I would love to hear if anybody has some ideas for eating in Universal other than bringing my own food.
