Faux Shearling Boots

Hi! I am looking for some stylish faux shearling "ugg" boots. I really like the style because it is simple and cozy, but I would never buy a pair because of the obvious cruelty to animals that is involved in making them.

I've been looking around on amazon.com using the search key "faux shearling boots" and there are a lot of options with most being in the $30 range. I don't mind spending up to $60 for a decent pair of boots.

Does anyone have any brands or suggestions? I am new to the world of vegan shoes.

I also wanted to add that it'd be a huge plus if they are waterproof because I will be walking around NY this winter! If not though, no biggie.

I'm also interested in some vegan 'Uggs' - I'm starting the transition to a vegan lifestyle and sadly I own a couple pairs of Uggs. Have you found any waterproof or water resistant boots yet Meghan?

I have not found any that are waterproof, though I've searched amazon.com for "faux shearling boots" and there is quite a selection. I know that there is some kind of spray that you can use on sneakers that helps make them water resistant, but I don't know if that would work on "uggs".
