My gallbladder is working 31% i have NO stones it only hurts when i eat bad. I've been Kind for almost 3 weeks, i haven't had any issues. Today i saw the doctor and when he pressed it kind of hurt a little. I was disapointed i didn't know it was still bothering me. ARE there any foods i should NOT eat in the Kind diet. Someone had mentioned to me that tumeric is not good. The surgeon said i am a good candidate to wait and see if my diet helps since i have no stones. If discomfort continues i should get it removed. I would love it if i could somehow heal it. Also surgery would cost a lot of money and we are a family of 4 with an income of maybe 25k. If anyone could shed some light, i would be so greatful. Thank you

I agree that you should try alternative treatments first as most gallbladder surgery can be prevented.

Always check with a doctor or professional before adding any supplements to your diet.

Bitter herbs on the back of the tongue can stimulate bile flow and digestion. Turmeric is considered a bile stimulant and increases bile production in turn. Any bitter herb(digestive bitters formula etc) pre meal on the back of the tongue is helping.

Some other supplements such as bile salts and taurine are also helpful. Low fat diets can also cause bile stagnation a little oil doesn't hurt to stop the bile from stagnating.

Thanks Amla, i have found contradicting information. Some say tumeric is bad for you and onions and cabbage, while others say its ok. I know that ever since i stop animal products i don't have any pain. I may ask the people at the supplement store. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
