Just wanted to give a small update, I'm already eating one month without bread and I feel great!
After all your opinions I decided to try it, and it was much easier than I ever imagined.
It was an incredible adventure and I learned many new thing.

So, thanks again you guys!
And a happy newyear to you all!

Also, never get comfortable and never assume. Always check labels even if it's something you buy often because recipes change all the time. Especially if it's a mass produced product. I learned this the hard way. ;)

Thanks Kenya Ryan for the tip! Thats so true. Also it's just better to make your one food, with fresh ingridients, so you always know what's in it ;) That I also was learn already.

I love this journey, there is so many to learn and new things to discover :) When I stopped eating bread, there was a whole new world for me :)

hi eowynka!

I love it, too, that you´re forced to go out of your ways with veganism- you get to try a lot of new foods! nonetheless, if you buy bread at a "real" bakery in belgium (i.e. no of the super-cheap chain stores) you should be fine buying bread, as there´s normally no butter/eggs involved (apart from sweet treats like a raisin loaf etc.) plus: the staff there should be able to tell you what´s in it! if you buy organic they often make a point of showing the ingredients on the labels indicating the price.. there are so many healthy wholewheat versions out there, so you don ´t have to cut everything out! and in Italian restaurants they normally make their bread from the pizza dough and that ´s vegan, too. so enjoy it!

@bretzel, you are right, in a nature shop, there I can find yet some good bread to eat, without all the extra stuff in what you don't need. And I'm not saying that I will never eat bread again, but for the moment I'm afrait to eat it again, becaus I feel so great without and also and maybe I'l will be eat to much of it every day again.. But thanks for the tip :) Ho know, maybe a year fom now I will be able to eat somethimes bread again. It's for the moment the same with sugar in my life, I cut it all out, but now I'm to afraid to eat it again, afrait that I will get addicted to it again. Have a nice day!

I know, I know! it´s way to easy to eat to much bread.. and if you ´re having white bread it´s mostly simple sugar anyway. sometimes it´s better to stay away from a certain food than trying to "control" it. and one feels much better without bread than after a binge! let´s hope that by eating "clean" for a while our bodies will be able to handle those cravings!
