Before I started making my own I researched ingredients and got many surprises.
I found that soap should not be" drying" when made naturally. Commercial soaps are not only filled with junk like like by-products but the glycering is harvested out and sold off then the soap we get is nothing like real soap.
When we had been told something was "soap free" especially liquids. Liquids are made with potassium hydroxide which is an inorganic, manufactured ingredient.
Real soap is made with sodium hydroxide which is naturally occuring when water is run through ash.
I researched produce and found that so many are so beneficial inside and out.
when making soap the old fashioned way produce can be added at the end to get real benefits.
Nature is where we came from and I try each day to get closer to nature.
