Hi there - I'm Lindsay Reinsmith, founder and CEO of Kaeng Raeng natural detox. This isn't an advertisement and I am not here to persuade you to try my product being featured on The Kind Life today.

We get asked a lot of questions here at KR about our product, how it's made, where it comes from, and "what's the story" behind the detox you've probably seen on The Kind Life multiple times. I'm open to answering any questions you may have about the product, our company, and our commitment to animal rights.

Sometimes it's just nice to hear it from an actual person instead of a web site or customer service rep. And since we're a small business, it's my honor to speak to you one-on-one about our product.

If you have questions but would prefer to not ask them on this forum, you can always call us at 650 646 5474.

Hi Lindsay I just got the 6 day beginner and im on day 2. I am having a heard time drinking them, im sorry but it doesnt taste good to me. When you make it into a smoothie should you be mixing it with water and almond milk or just one or the other? Any other tips would be a great help?

Thanks so much

Hi Avisia - Everyone's tastes are different. I love Kaeng Raeng the best mixed with 24 oz of water, 4 oz of fresh juice (that's half a cup so not very much!), some spinach, a banana, and half a cup of frozen blueberries. Yum! But I also like my smoothies a little more on the sweet side. If you're trying to cut sugars, almond milk can be a great option, but you definitely want to add water as well. If you're sticking with raw foods and drinking the shakes entirely, it's perfectly OK to add extra calories to your mixture. Remember that you're putting a lot of fiber into your body (13g per serving) and that's going to slow down the absorption of those sugars. Try blending your KR with fruits or veggies and not just liquid. On its own, Kaeng Raeng has a very mild taste which we did intentionally. A lof ot other companies put vanilla and sweet flavors to make their products taste more like milk shakes. We know that not everyone likes that, so we made it customizable. But definitely make sure you're drinking plenty of water - if you were to add just almond milk you'd likely end up with a stomach ache.
