I am a very new vegan. (January 1, 2012) I have been vegetarian for the past couple of years and have eaten sushi as a vegetarian. Now that I have made the plunge to veganism I am not sure if I still can eat sushi and if so what kinds of stuff can I still eat. I am very passionate about my decision to become vegan and do not want to take a chance of eating anything that is not vegan

Please Help? Thanks

Congratulations!! This one is easy, especially since our former president (Clinton) said it best in his transition into becoming a vegan: "If it had a mother, I don't eat it". OK, a bit simplistic, but it works. The very best of luck on your journey!

Hey Rebecca,

Vegetable sushi you can still eat definitely! What other foods are you questioning? Here to help ;)
