I am not a breakfast person. I am looking for a smoothie reciepe that would be good for a breakfast subsitute. One that will last with me. I am a 1st grade teacher so I don't get many chances to eat in my day. Any suggestions/reciepes would be wonderful. Even a meal bar is just too much in the morning. So i thought something i could drink would be awesome!
This is the smoothie recipe i have most mornings. I add a scoop of vegan protein powders to balance my blood sugar and increase protein content of green smoothie. Just tastes like a berry smoothie really.
Thanks they look yummy! I am trying to be vegan again. I tried once but failed. I have been vegeterian for about 5 years. I have gotten in a rut with drinking soda and i have given it up again. I drink water all day long but at meals i find myself wanting something other than water. Any suggestions? Is juice a good choice and if so do you reccomend a certain brand?
Juice is going to be a better choice than drinking soda and other sugary fizzy drinks. Have a look in your local health store and you will probably find some juice and even carbonated healthier beverages.
Alternatively you could get your own juicer and make some healthy fresh juices up.
Loving these recipes for smoothies. I broke my jaw last year and had to have surgery again to repair - so I am wired shut - I'm starting to crave disgusting food that I normally don't eat. Currenlty I am on liquid diet but looking for more healthy/vegan recipes - I need more than the baby food and ensure they have me on. Any suggestions? Take in mind it has to be small enough to fit through my wires. Thanks for help!!
