Hey,
I've been vegan for quite a while now but recently my boyfriend has also made a switch. I've never ever used either seitan or Tempeh because I just ate lentils, grains and sea vegetables. How do I cook this stuff?
Thanks,
Kate x
Hi Kate,
Seitan goes great in stews, stir fry, or my favorite way is to make a seitan loaf then slice it really thinly on top of brown rice so it's almost like a greek gyro. Tempeh is a good breakfast sub for bacon. It is also great in sandwiches.

Thanks so much, I'm still a bit scared of it but hopefully will try it soon : )
Try Field Roast sausages! They're made from seitan and even omnis love them.
tempeh i usually fry it with alittle soy sauce and i use it as the "meat" ina rueben.. and seitan i do the same thing i been having a peanut sauce kick and been just frying the seitan then would saute it with the sauce til its the rite texture u like.. easy once u try, ive failed my first few times lol
