Would you please take a minute and sign this petition.

As part of his budget solution, Gov. Brown (in California) is expected to propose a repeal of the Hayden Law which requires animal shelters to keep dogs and cats for a longer period of time before euthanizing them.

Before the law was enacted, shelters only had to hold onto animals for just 72 hours, but with the Hayden Law, the time was increased from 4 to 6 days.

Brown wants to repeal the Hayden Law to save money - please sign this petition to stop the repeal of this law which currently helps protect shelter dogs and cats for a least a few more days!

Thank you so much! Copy the below link and paste it in your address bar, this will take you directly to the page with the Petition!
