So, I feel I eat a really great diet with the exception of some goof ups here and there, but over the last year I gained about 12 pounds. Maybe that doesnt seem like a lot but nothing fits and I feel yuck. I have fatigue issues so I have become much more sedentary lately and my exercise regimen has suffered a lot, so the only thing I can do is watch my calorie intake strictly. I recently started using WW guidelines to help me track. Its easier than calorie counting and it is fitting in great with a whole foods diet. Anyone else on WW???
I'm not on WW, but I have been in the past (in my nonvegan days).
I wanted to comment on your fatigue issues. Try scheduling at least 25 minutes of exersize into your day, it will help you feel more alert during the day and studies have shown that your sleep will improve with only 21 minutes of daily activity. This can be as easy as taking a brisk walk around your block a couple times. Not only will this help you sleep and prevent fatigue, but it will also help increase your exersize and decrease your weight.
Thanks Trista.. Good advice:)
I count WW points as well. I find it is easy to follow while eating a vegan diet. And, on those weeks when I stick to it, I always have a good result. Good luck to you.
