Does anyone have an insight as to a helpful way college students, particularily the ones living in dorms, can composte? I know there are indoor composters out there, but are those practical to stay inside a single dorm room? Also, would the upkeep be more difficult? Being vegan, I go through tons of fruit and vegetable scraps, as well as an abundant amount of coffee grinds (gotta love pulling all-nighters!) I feel extremely wastful when I simply throw everything away. I'd love to find a simple solution to this problem as soon as possible.

I really hope someone will post a helpful response to this. I am living in an apartment and have the same problem. I tried composting in a bucket, but that was an utter (and horribly stinky) failure.

I asked a question similar to this one and I got such great help from a fellow Kind-Lifer. If you guys are still interested, you can check out the whole post under the Kind Household tab. It's one of the recent questions. Sorry it's such a late reply but I hope it helps!
