Hi:) Our family just started juicing and eating fresh, raw, mostly organic fruits and vegetables. I just found out today that I have low thyroid and my doctor wants me to come into his office asap to get thyroid hormones.

I don't take any other prescription meds (and practically no over the counter-pain only which I haven't needed more than once since I started juicing/eating more raw) I DON'T WANT TO TAKE THE MEDICATIONS, so here is my question...
WHAT FRUITS, VEGGIES, NUTRIENTS, PLANTS, HERBS, etc. can I eat, juice, etc. to prevent having to go on medication?

Thank you in advance!:)

I had the same problem and took Gaia Thyroid Support supplements. They are natural and WORKED!

The problem with low thyroid is that there is many causes, some include low intakes of nutrients needed for the production and conversion of thyroid hormones such as iodine, selenium and the amino acid tyrosine for example. Other causes can include estrogen dominance, adrenal insufficiency and other endocrine disorders.

Treating low thyroid will depend on the cause.
