I have been practicing macrobiotics for 2 years. When starting all my ibs problems, inc bloating went away. Now 2 years in its all come back. I have gone back to eating bread on occasion and have had quite a few birthday meals to go to lately, where a superhero diet just isnt possible, so i do the best I can. But white rice, pasta etc really makes me bloat and since these meals my stomach hasnt been the same.
I think I need a detox, as just going back to my superhero diet isnt working on its own. But i have no idea where to begin with a detox, other than carrot daikon drink.
Have you looked into the brown rice fast? Since your body is not totaly foreign to macrobiotics i think you would benefit from just 3-4 days. Eating a lot of brown rice porridge so it's something really easy for you to digest is so benefitial.
