Just wanted to share this awesome recipe for home made laundry detergent! I have some other homemade cleaner recipes too, if any one is interested.


Powder Laundry Detergent


1 Cup of Borax


1 Cup of Washing Soda


2 Bars of grated soap


Place all ingredients in a zip loc bag, or a reuseable container. Seal and shake well! For large loads use 2 Tablespoons and 1 Tablespoon for small loads!


Any bar soap will work as long as it doesn't have moisturizers.


Just made some myself will follow up and let you all know how well it worked.

I use Celadon Road cleaners. Their laundry detergent only has six ingredients, no chemicals and doesn't need fabric softener or dryer sheets. I also love their glass cleaner (lemon and mint, so safe you can spray it in your mouth), all purpose cleaner (it is lavender & eucalyptus, you can spray this one in your mouth too, but eucalyptus doesnt taste very good) and their odor elimiator works exceptionally well. All the products are organic, many are fair trade and made here in the US. Also, they are not tested on animals, most are vegan and most are gluten free.
