brown rice syrup / organic baby food??

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I'm so disturbed by the Dr. Oz recent findings that organic brown rice syrup, not sure if that means all kinds, but the kind found in a lot of baby food has arsenic in it. Anyone know anything about this??

Hi, I just read the article today, actually. It's a little disheartening, to be honest, but I strongly believe that you just can't trust any foods that are packaged, not even organic. Lately, I've been going crazy over "Natural Flavors." I read an article that there's absolutely nothing "natural" in "natural flavors." And almost EVERYTHING has that on their labels! It drives me nuts! What bothers me is that it's even in A LOT of organic products.


Have you considered buying a juicer and making your own baby food from scratch?

Yea I watch out for "natural flavors" because I'm gluten free. It's just so unfortunate when you try and be careful and then find out that thats bad too!
