Question about probiotic cultured coconut milk...

...so i bought this for 6$ and it tasted kinda sour to me. I told myself it was because there is only 3g of sugar in it, so would taste yogurty to me. (and all yogurt tastes kinda sour to me) Now 2nite my massage therapist said my stomach feels "not happy" and i mentioned drinking the probiotics coconut milk and that I did not like the taste. He said are you sure it wasn't sour?
this may seem like a dumb question, but how would i know if it is sour? I do not want to buy another bottle for 6$ somewhere else to compare. The expiration date is not past, but i guess things can "spoil" for odd reasons?
Any words of wisdom most appreciated!!
