I found 3 ticks on my dog today. One of the bites is very red, so if it doesn't look better by tomorrow, I'm taking him to the vet. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has an opinion about flea and tick control, such as Frontline? I've used it in the past, and it certainly does the trick, but I wonder if putting pesticides on my dog is actually worse than the pests themselves? We have a lot of deer ticks in the neighborhood I live in, so Lyme disease is a definite concern.
