I've been a vegetarian for almost four years, dabbling in veganism a little bit. The only animal product I still eat once in awhile is cheese but rarely. Anyway, trying to stay away from processed foods I was wondering if anyone had any opinions about, or knows anything about Quorn Products? They're one of my favorite vegetarian foods when I feel like making a "burger" or a "chicken" sandwich. They have good "chicken" nuggets too. Any thoughts???

I sooooo love Quorn!! I've only tried the chicken cutlets and nuggets though. The best way I've found to cook the cutlets (since they're prone to drying out) is to steam them. Right now, I'd say Quorn and tempeh are my diet staples. Tempeh and green beans with a little splash of sesame oil and garlic is heaven. The Quorn nuggets are for my "junk" food nights! Yum!

I actually just saw these advertised the other night and was curious as don't really buy any of this sort of thing but was wondering what was in them .... discovered they aren't actually vegan .... just so you know ... http://www.quorn.com.au/FAQs/

I've gone vegan and was also excited to see the Quorn products at my local store. They are cheaper and come in larger packages. That was until I looked at the label. That was when I found they use egg whites and milk in most of their products. Not very vegan friendly. Also, I researched them and found where quite a few people had reactions to it. I decided to just leave it on the shelf.
