Finding my way back....

Hello Everyone! I started the Kind Diet back in 2010. In fact, my results were so wonderful that Alicia actually posted my success story! Sadly, shortly thereafter, my life fell apart, and so did my newfound healthy lifestyle.

I stayed vegetarian, but slowly starting comsuming dairy products and junk food. A year and 20 pounds later, I was unhealthy and felt like crap!! WTH? I had been doing so well! How did I allow that to happen?? I felt like a complete failure once again. Trust me, life can sure tear apart your successes.

I am here to tell you now, that I am trying to get back on. I have never felt as healthy and happy as when I was vegan. Falling off the wagon has been the proof for me that a vegan lifestyle is the only way to go. I miss how good I used to feel... about life... about myself. Life the last couple years has made me a much stronger person, and now I need to take charge of myself and my health! No one else can save me; I have to save myself.

And so, I am back on board, and very much a newbie again - I am only 2 days in. I have to do this for ME - I deserve to be healthy and feel happy. I have to believe that it is all within my power to make it there once again. I would love and appreciate everyone's support! Love you all!

I hope everything is still going well for you, now that it's almost 2 weeks later. You can definitely get back to the health and well-being that you achieved before. I have only been vegan for 9 months, but I feel so good now. It's made such a difference in my health and attitude (and weight). Don't give up! :)

Good for you for getting back on track! Let us know how you are doing :) I attempted to go vegan last year and I did well for about 3 months or so and then I fell off the wagon as well. I would like to get myself back on track. I think i'm going to try and do it slowly though. All the best!

It's my 4th day and I feel the same. Put on 10 more pounds after the year from HELL, but need to finish it and lose 30. I'm very excited to take control of something, so it's my diet once again. Now I feel that moving up to the mountains will pay off with a healthier vegan lifestyle. Hang in there, we will look and feel great once again!

Thank you so much for the wonderful responses. I have struggled since my post, but now feel like I am finally on track. Timing is sometimes everything I guess. I am hopeful!!
