Not happy about eating meat

Brand new to this website. I became a vegan in November of 2010. I had stayed faithfully vegan until yesterday.

When I first started as a vegan, my energy levels were through the roof. I was finally enjoying my life, and I was able to gradually go off of all of my migraine medications. Unfortunately I was also becoming more allergic to various plant foods- soy, nuts, broccoli, zuchinni, onions, kale...the list is long. And the allergies weren't minor, my throat would swell and breathing became difficult week after week, and I'd have to do detective work to see "which food set it off this time."

My energy decreased the more foods I had to eliminate, and then this past month I stopped menstruating. Yesterday I discovered that the reason why I stopped menstruating was probably due to malnutrition. I ate meat and hated it, but at least I started menstruating again (today).

Has anyone else had the same problems as I have? I really don't want to continue eating meat, but with being allergic to so many things I almost feel like I have no choice. Why has my body been acting so weird?

Advice is welcome, and thank you for your time.

I am afraid I don't have advice but maybe you should see a macrobiotic counsellor or something and see if they have any suggestions? It might be one family of veggies or something??? Good luck!

Thank you, Kirsty. It's just the answer I needed; for someone who "doesn't have advice," your advice was awesome! :)

that is so terrible, because the menstruate stopped, that means you have come acorss with serious body problem, you have to see the doctor, and then follow the doctors' instruction and have some medicine to balance your endocrine....
