I can't stand being obese

I think of when I was very little we would always have drive-through breakfast and huge dinners. My family never counted calories of food, and cake never had calories for us. But after I grew older I realized cake does have calories. As you can see I'm very overweight now, and honestly I can't stand it. At this point I live separately from my family, and I feel like I don't need to eat like I used to anymore. However it is hard cause I really love cakes and all unhealthy foods I should not consume. There were several times when I wished to lose weight fast, however after being on a diet for a week I'd always give up because I perhaps really don't know how to do it. This time I would like to try to lose weight again cause I've heard from a friend about diet products. She says these pills are great, and they can help me. So, do you think it is a good idea to get rid of weight with weight loss products?

No. I don't.

I think if you are here, then you know what to do. Eat whole foods, quit cakes, quit breads. It sounds dire, but it isn't. I haven't found a vegan cake yet, and I'm sure as heck not going to bake myself one! I have not lost much weight since becoming full vegan, but I have more endurance and can exercise more. I look healthier. I feel better. Slowly but surely, the weight will come off.

I had a childhood like yours. My parents were very busy and we had pizza or drive through most nights of the week. It is a terrible cycle. And I have chosen to end it. My kids don't have to suffer like I did. Always trying to play catch up in the health game. Take responsibility, make changes, and enjoy your new life. Pills aren't going to help.
