new york times, is it ethical to eat meat

Hi all,


I just looked on NYT, there's an essay competition regarding the topic, 'is it ethical to eat meat', and i am surprised- bit horrified- that none of the 6 entries chosen advocate against the motion, ie, that it is unethical to eat meat... :(
