If you love these as much as I do, please please please contact Sunspire and ask them not to discontinue them!
You can send a form through the contact link on their website:

I wondered what happened to them! The vegan Carob chips are a pretty good alternative =)
I have no idea! Seems like they sell pretty well at both the Whole Foods I usually go to. That's actually how I found out they were being discontinued, because both had been out for about a month, and I finally asked about it.
I know! I just found out too! I had some on order and they just sent me a email saying they were discontiuning them. I did send them an email via their website at sunspire.com. Big ol bummer!
I was worried about this! I've tried finding them over the last month and have been to about 10 stores with no success. Thanks for posting this.
I noticed on their site there was a 'new' (to me) product which is called grain sweetened dark chocolate baking chips which had brown rice syrup as a sweetener vs. malted barley which I was happy to see. Is it possible this is a new product that will replace it? I wrote to them as well before I saw this post.
Thanks for the update. There really is no other manufacturer of this type chocolate chip. Although I thought they'd gotten much too expensive recently, I still liked to get them now and again.

Thanks for share this offer....
I will try ... :-)
I wrote to them in early August and they said that they would start production again end of August. So I think there's hope!
