Hello,

I was just reseraching Candida and found quite a number of the symptoms apply to me.Are there any fellow Candidans out there? What have your experiences been, how has a doctor/prescription/diet helped you? I am vegan and exercise daily,Astanga yoga and running two miles, light weights, but I can't seem to shed about 10 pounds of weight.I feel foggy and distracted a lot of the time,I have always had one leg jerking a lot, have had spells with fainting, anemia, hives, allergies, sensitivities, depression, anxiety, short attention span, acne, bladder issues...you name it,I've had it!

I'm very grateful for any support!

Namaste and thanks!

Hiya,

I had some issues with candida when younger, and found that literally cutting out sugar ,grains and alcohol did the trick.

It's hard to do it being vegan - I started eating more eggs just to get the protein. It was a sacrifice to give up the veganism, but it's what my body needed. once i felt more level, I slowly introduced grains to see what I'd react to and what I didn't.

good luck! :)

Hello,

I have had Candida issues for the last year. After going to many doctor's appointments for treatments, nothing worked. I decided to transition into eating a more plant based diet, and not eating animal products or processed foods or sugar. Let me tell you, it has not been easy, but I feel that this transition will be better for me in the long run. I feel better, sleep harder and am more relaxed. I notice how I feel after I eat sugar and meat. Sluggish and heavy. So maybe just trail and error. You know your body best! I also run and practice yoga about 3-4 times a week and I feel this helps me to feel grounded, so I say keep working out to release toxins.

A few things I suggest that has helped, yeast feeds on sugar so I have eliminated it for now & I have taken my ph every morning first thing. You can buy the ph strips at Whole Foods, and you pee on them and you get an immediate color reading. Yellow is acid, green to blue is alkaline. You want to be more alkaline, because yeast doesn't live in an alkaline environment. Hope this helps.

Thank you all for you input and experiences! Amy,I haven't had meat in I think 15 years,no fish in four, and yogurt and cheese for two (they would trigger migraines even then). For me,it cannot be difficult.I have to make this work, our health is so important, and so I do not waste energy complaining about something or wishing I could have fruit or agave.I did that for so long, complained when I had "everything" but I don't do that in my life.

I think mindfulness is very important with Candia.Being aware of my left leg jerking like crazy, being aware of what my body is feeling, and not necessarily how to "fix" it,but how to work with it and heal it naturally.I take Bee pollen with lemon and warm water in the morning( to form the alkaline),then chlorophyll, probiotics, spirulina, vitamin E,Garlic, add turmeric to my morning protein smoothie,Betaine,Candex.I have either pau de'arco tea or liquid form every day,and am trying to remember to have orgeano oil more often.I have only a little drop in tea.

I have had acne on and off,and was using coconut oil,but it really didn't help.I think my body is still transtitioning and is not able to convert the fats in it fully.I have since switched to argan oil, with great results.Right now I'm wearing almond oil on my face.I use Aztec Secret bentonite clay daily, sometimes several times, along with separate Greek yogurt and honey masks. However I'm going away for a month next month so I'm getting the best health I can before then!

Thanks again!

Namaste,

Tajna
